Global Warming is the observed increase in the average temperature of the Earth's close-surface air and oceans in recent decades

There are many things that the United States is doing to stop Global Warming, such as: Hybrid cars that
run on gasoline and electricity, solar panels for energy such as heating swimming pools, and alternative sources for electricity
such as hydroelectric energy which converts the movement of water into energy.

We are making this site to inform people about the causes and harmful effects of Global Warming. We will also tell you how
individuals can help stop Global Warming. Even as individuals, if we all work together, Global Warming will cease to exist.

Many people may say "What good will it do if I do these things alone"? It will help if everyone works together by
driving hybrid cars, turning off unnessecary lights, planting trees, and keeping things off the top of your refridgerator.
The last one sounds ridiculous, but it does save a little bit of energy. If you do the previous steps, you will save energy
and help the Earth.

Some of the causes for Global Warming are: 1. The chopping down of trees to multiply the carbon dioxide level since the trees
take in carbon dioxide. 2. The burning of too many fossil fuels such as vehicles burn gasoline. 3. A lot of Carbon dioxide
from power plants since they burn fossil fuels. 4. Earth's atmosphere contains about 750 billion tons of carbon, and 800 billion
tons are dissolved in the suface layers of the worlds oceans.
